Privacy
The short version: we store what you swipe so the deck gets better, and almost nothing else.
Before you sign in
On your first visit we give your browser an anonymous ID in a cookie. Your swipes, saves and preferences are stored against that ID. It isn’t linked to a name, an email, or an address book. If you clear your cookies, it’s gone and you start fresh.
When you sign in
We ask for an email address only at the point where you save something and we need somewhere to keep it. We send a one-time code, so there is no password. Your earlier anonymous history is attached to the account so you don’t lose it.
What we collect
- Your home area, how far you’ll travel, and your budget range.
- Which activities you skipped, liked, saved, and whether you told us you actually went.
- Basic usage events: which screens you opened, so we can tell which parts of this are working.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t track you across other websites. We don’t ask for your contacts, your location in the background, or anything we don’t need to pick a bar for you.
Getting rid of it
Email us and we’ll delete your account and everything attached to it. No retention games.
